Automatic Collection: L. WHAT DO YOU STORE? HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP MY INFORMATION, AND WHEN WILL YOU DISPOSE OF IT?

Please note that the manner in which we use the personal information you enter into the shopping cart will be maintained from session to session unless you modify your subscription status settings. Is Shopify PCI compliant?

All payments through Shopify Payment are automatically authenticated with 3D Secure to help prevent fraudulent orders. Shopify Payments have an integrated card testing protection that helps prevent credit card fraud at checkout. Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This compliance extends by default to all stores powered by Shopify.

PHISHING

Phishing is a scam designed to steal your personal information. We would never ask you for any credit card or bank information via email, so if you receive an email that looks like it is from us asking for your credit card or bank information, do not respond.

FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Your personal information may be transferred to and maintained on servers or databases located outside your state or country or to a jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your location. If you are located outside of the United States, please be advised that L. If you wish to exclude your personal information from our direct marketing, or if you would like to update or delete your email address, mailing address or other personal information, unsubscribe to a L. Butter Bell® Crock E-gift Cards

Butter Bell crock e-gift cards (“E-Cards”) may be used to purchase any eligible product available for purchase on the butterbell.com online catalog. The recipient of an E-Card will be notified via email. You may purchase E-Cards in US dollar denominations of any custom amount. The amount of the E-Card you purchase will be charged to your credit card when you confirm your purchase of such E-Card. Once the recipient of the E-Card activates the E-Card, then the value of the E-Card will appear in the recipient’s shopping cart as a credit toward purchases on butterbell.com. If a purchase exceeds the amount of the E-Card, the balance must be paid by credit card or other available payment method, in accordance with butterbell.com standard payment policies. E- Cards cannot be used to purchase other E-Cards.  E-Cards do not expire. Except where prohibited by applicable law, E-Card recipients may not (a) receive refunds for E-Cards, (b) resell or otherwise transfer E-Cards to others (including without limitation transferring E-Cards to other butterbell.com Users’ accounts), (c) reload E-Cards, or (d) redeem unused E-Card balances if they cancel their butterbell.com account. E- Cards are not currency, and do not have cash value outside of butterbell.com. L. Tremain, Inc. is not responsible for any unauthorized use of an E-Card.

CALIFORNIA RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of L. Tremain, Inc. who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
