Blueberry Dutch Baby Recipe

Here's what you need for this delicious recipe...

- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 Tblsp granulated Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 ounces (half stick) of butter

Directions: Heat oven to 400 degrees. In a cast iron skillet, melt the butter in the oven. Add all other ingredients (except blueberries) in a blender and mix well. Once the butter has melted in the skillet in the oven, pour blended mixture into the skillet. Add blueberries, sprinkling them around to distribute them evenly. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until you see the dutch baby rise along the sides. Once it has risen, lower the oven to 325 degrees and bake for 5 more minutes until it is set. Remove from oven, and let cool for 5 minutes.

Serving: cut in slices (like a pie) and sprinkle some powdered sugar over the slices or add maple syrup or your favorite fruit preserves (peach works really well with this dish).

NOTE: for a thicker dutch baby, add an additional egg.
